Aisha Yesufu rejected House of Reps ticket from Peter Obi and Seriake Dickson

Seriake Dickson, the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has publicly stated that he and Peter Obi offered Aisha Yesufu a House of Representatives ticket under the party but she turned it down. He made this disclosure at the party's stakeholders' meeting in Abuja. According to Dickson, Yesufu said she was too big for the House of Representatives, a position many Nigerians are desperate for.

This revelation comes amid internal wranglings within the NDC, and Yesufu had earlier posted on her X handle that Dickson seemed to be fighting a war no one was waging against him. Now we know why he is upset. The man offered her a ticket, she rejected it, and now he is airing the dirty laundry in public.
