Super Eagles missing but Nigerian bloodlines are everywhere at 2026 World Cup

So we no go see Super Eagles at the World Cup this year but somehow Nigerian players dey everywhere for the squad lists. England dey carry Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, and Noni Madueke — all three of them with full Nigerian names like Bukayo Ayoyinka Saka and Eberechi Oluchi Eze. Germany get Jamal Musiala and Felix Nmecha, Austria get David Alaba and Carney Chukwuemeka, Switzerland get Manuel Akanji and Noah Okafor. France even get Michael Olise whose father na Nigerian.

Canada straight up get Tani Oluwaseyi wey born for Abuja before moving. The United States get Folarin Balogun. Norway get Antonio Nusa. South Africa get Ime Okon. Over 1,200 players for the whole tournament and Nigerian heritage dey spread across Europe, North America and Africa. Our boys dey everywhere except for our own national team.

This one sweet or bitter? Because on one hand e dey show say Nigeria produce world class talent, on the other hand our own Super Eagles no fit organise themselves to qualify. Which one better — watch our diaspora boys win trophies for other countries or watch Super Eagles struggle at home?
