UK lowers salary requirement for work visas — japa dream back on?

So Deborah Dan-Awoh just reported that the UK review is proposing lower salary requirements for work visas in 2026. Imagine that — after all the tears and wahala about the 38k threshold, they might actually reduce am. My cousin in Manchester sent me the link this morning and I nearly dropped my tea.

Now I know some of una go say "UK don suffer, who still wan go?" But let's be real — for many Nigerians, any door that cracks open is still an opportunity. The question is whether this new policy will actually make things easier or if it's just another gimmick to fill labour shortages. What do you think — is the UK still worth the japa stress in 2026?
