Tinubu says 10,000 tractors coming to save our food situation

President Bola Tinubu don announce for Democracy Day say im government go deploy 10,000 tractors across Nigeria through the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF). He talk say agriculture na key to their economic recovery plan and dem don already sign $70 million deal with AGCOMS International Trading Limited for 2,000 John Deere tractors as first phase.

The NADF Executive Secretary Mohammed Abu Ibrahim say dem go assemble some of these tractors for Nigeria, don already arrange with Nigerian Ports Authority for space for assembly plant. Dem say dis program go create jobs, reduce manual farming, and increase food production. Chijioke Okoli from AGCOMS talk say na comprehensive mechanization initiative, not just buying equipment.

All dis talk about 10,000 tractors over five years sound good for paper, but we don hear plenty promises before. The question na whether dem go actually follow through or this one go end like other abandoned government projects? Make we see action first before we start dancing.
