Dino Melaye says Tinubu is wearing an oversized shoe

Dino Melaye came out yesterday at the Raymond Dokpesi colloquium in Abuja and told Tinubu straight: you are overwhelmed, Nigeria is not Lagos. He said the president lacks the intellectual, emotional, and physical capacity to lead this country. Melaye pointed out that in the last three years alone, three serving generals have been abducted and killed, yet the government cannot secure its own military leaders.

He said Tinubu's Democracy Day speech failed to reflect the hardship ordinary Nigerians are facing. Melaye said any leader who fails in security and welfare is a failed president and should resign honourably. He is not the first person to say this, but hearing it from a former senator at a public event carries weight.

So when three generals can be killed and the government cannot show capacity, what exactly is the Commander-in-Chief doing?
