DJ Cuppy, Falz, and 8 other Nigerian celebrities born into super-wealth

DJ Cuppy and Falz top a list of 10 Nigerian celebrities born into super-wealth, challenging the common narrative of rags-to-riches stardom. DJ Cuppy, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, has built a global music and philanthropy career, while Falz, son of legal luminary Femi Falana, blends activism with his music. Other names include music producer Don Jazzy, actress Funke Akindele, and singer Wizkid, all from affluent families. The list underscores how privilege can ease access to opportunities in Nigeria’s entertainment industry. Falz once said, "I didn't choose to be born into privilege, but I choose to use it for good."
