‘What I told Peter Obi before he joined NDC’ – Kenneth Okonkwo

Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Party, has revealed that he advised Peter Obi against joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Okonkwo stated that he warned Obi he would become a "mobile squatter" in the NDC if he left the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

"I told Obi that if he left ADC, he would become a mobile squatter in NDC," Okonkwo said in a post on X. He noted that a recent interview by NDC national leader Seriake Dickson confirmed his fears, adding that "squatters do not have rights and privileges in the landlord's house." Okonkwo further claimed that the only role for Obi and his supporters in the NDC is "unquestioning servitude" to the party's Supreme Leader.
