Moyo Lawal video: Nigerian actress speak on leaked sex clip

Nigerian actress Moyo Lawal has spoken out after her private video with her ex-fiancé went viral on social media. She confirmed the man in the clip was her former partner, and they had been planning to marry before breaking up due to communication challenges. The video was recorded with her consent while she was sick.

"Until a lioness tells her story, every hunter will continue to be a hero," Lawal said on Instagram. "This video I did with my ex, who I wanted to marry at that time, was not for public consumption, and its unauthorized distribution is a breach of my personal boundaries." She denied leaking the video herself and said she is pursuing legal action. Fellow Nollywood actors including Kate Henshaw, Omoni Oboli, and Empress Njamah have expressed support for her.
