Labour Party says democracy without delivery becomes frustration

Labour Party don drop their own message for this Democracy Day, and e no be the usual praise singing. Ken Eluma Asogwa, the party's National Publicity Secretary, release a statement yesterday saying democracy must translate into real things like jobs, security, and relief for Nigerians. No be just to dey carry flag and shout for ceremony.

The party even remind us say June 12 na reminder of MKO Abiola's sacrifice, and that we suppose honour am by making sure citizens feel the change. Dem warn say democracy without delivery becomes frustration. Millions of Nigerians dey suffer under rising costs, job scarcity, and insecurity despite years of civilian rule. The party say dividends of democracy must reflect in food security, healthcare, education, electricity, and employment. No be just slogan again.

Labour Party also say dem get candidates with character, competence, and capacity to restore trust. But my question be, when last you see any politician wey truly deliver for your area? The gap between what dem promise and what we live every day too wide. Who go really close that gap?
