PFN Chairman says democracy has failed Nigerians and I agree
5 months ago
Reverend Minaibi Dagogo-Jack of PFN Rivers State just told journalists in Port Harcourt that June 12 has lost its meaning because of insecurity and political manipulation. He said, 'Enough of laxity. Enough of carelessness. Let us speak out.'
This man is not lying. Our democracy is not working for ordinary people. We see politicians defecting for personal gain, internal democracy dead, and youth being used as thugs. The church is now mobilizing 600,000 votes in Rivers State to change things.
But my question is: will the church actually hold politicians accountable after elections, or will they go silent again? Be honest, do you trust any religious body to stay on this matter after their preferred candidate wins?
