9-3-4 system is a joke and now they want to ban common entrance?

So the FG is suddenly remembering that they were supposed to abolish Common Entrance 20 years ago when 9-3-4 started. And now they are trying to ban it like it's a fresh idea. Meanwhile in Lagos, junior secondary schools are still completely separate from primary schools and entrance exams are still gatekeeping everything. Make it make sense.

The worst part? UNICEF says we now have 18.3 million out-of-school children in 2024. That's 7 million MORE than when 9-3-4 was introduced in 2007. So we designed a policy to stop dropouts and somehow made things worse. Classic Nigeria.

We love putting reforms on paper and then acting surprised when nothing changes on the ground. Let's argue this. Am I the only one tired of these recycled announcements?
