Mele Kyari dragging Senate with medical excuse letter 😂

So the former NNPCL GCEO Mele Kyari has written a letter to the Senate saying he is surprised they issued an arrest warrant against him. The letter dated June 10 says he already informed them on May 8 that he was abroad on medical grounds and could not attend the hearing physically. The Senate Committee on Public Accounts still went ahead and issued the warrant.

This one is interesting o. On one hand you have a former public official claiming he followed due process by notifying the committee in advance. On the other hand the Senate is saying they did not accept his excuse and want him to appear. Who do we believe in this country where nobody ever wants to face queries?
