Uba Sani fires back at those comparing democracy to military rule

Kaduna Governor Uba Sani don come out strong on Arise TV yesterday, telling those people wey dey compare democracy with military rule to think again. He say we lost many comrades during those dark days of military tyranny, and e no be something we should joke with.

He remind us say MKO Abiola wey win the freest election for Nigeria, died in captivity on July 7, 1998. And MKO's wife, she was killed on June 4, 1996 for Lagos. So for am, anybody wey dey make that comparison either get military background or never experience the struggle.

I get mixed feelings about this one. Some things about democracy dey frustrate us, but the alternative? I don't even want to imagine. Wetin be your own take on this Uba Sani talk?
