Prof Udenta just dragged June 12 celebration on Arise TV

So this Prof Udenta Udenta, who was founding National Secretary of AD, went on Arise TV 'Prime Time' yesterday and said Nigeria is not celebrating true democracy. He said we are only celebrating electoral processes. The man said democracy is not just about legalism but legitimacy, and people are hungry and overwhelmed by despair. He even called it one of the worst cost-of-living crises in a generation.

Na wa o. 27 years of uninterrupted civilian rule and the man is saying the substance is empty. You see am for yourself on June 12. We dey mark anniversary but many families no fit eat two meals a day. Abi the democracy wey get emptiness inside na wetin we dey celebrate?
