Gov Mutfwang says no negotiation with bandits

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State dropped a strong one yesterday during the Democracy Day celebration in Jos. The man stood there and said straight up, "Plateau will not negotiate with terrorists. We will protect our people, protect our communities, and protect democracy."

Na true talk o. These bandit people dey think say violence go give them seat for the table of governance? The governor say his administration go only engage citizens through lawful democratic channels, not surrender to terror merchants. He even mention say dem don set up emergency lines for people to report suspicious activities and dey recruit more security personnel with Mr President approval.

But I just dey wonder... all this strong talk from governors, when we go see the real action? The man say enemies of Plateau dey orchestrate this insecurity to keep the state in perpetual poverty. Abi na true? Abi na just politricks again?
