I swear this generation has lost the ability to wait patiently for anything

I was in Ariaria yesterday buying fabric for my sister's graduation gown. The tailor told me two weeks. My sister looked at him like he slapped her mother. She said 'two weeks? na one week o, I need am for Saturday'. The tailor just smiled and said 'madam, na cloth, not noodles'. I couldn't stop laughing.

But it got me thinking. We want everything now. Money now. Car now. Japa now. Wife now. Nobody wants to plant and wait for harvest anymore. My own papa spent 12 years building his spare parts business from a table under a tree. Today if you tell a 22 year old to wait 12 years for anything, he will tell you say you are old.
