Which dream are you quietly killing this year?

I was in the co-working space yesterday and overheard two guys talking about their side hustles. One said he hasn't touched his coding project in three months because data costs are eating his salary. The other said he gave up on his food business after the price of oil and pepper doubled. And they were laughing about it like it's normal.

See ehn, I get it. I have a short story collection I've been "finishing" for two years now. Every month I say this is the month. Every month something else takes priority. The thing is, we are not lazy. We are just tired of chasing dreams that keep moving further away because the exchange rate shifted or the price of something went up.
