VDM protest call is dangerous, lawyer says. Who is right?

I saw this statement from Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, a lawyer and COO of UBIIJUS Intelligence, and I must say I find his reasoning quite compelling. He has come out to criticise VeryDarkMan's call for protests against insecurity, saying it will undermine national stability. Dr. Agbomhere argues that what we need now is unity and cooperation with security agencies, not street protests.

He made a point that struck me: he said calling for protests against President Tinubu's leadership is not patriotism but an act that encourages disorder. And he is right to ask what exactly protest will achieve when insecurity is driven by poverty, unemployment, drug abuse, and weak law enforcement. These are deep structural problems, not something a march will fix. He even compared us to the UK and US where citizens serve as the first line of defence through vigilance.

But here is the thing. Many young Nigerians feel the government has failed them. They see VeryDarkMan as someone speaking truth to power. So the question becomes: is Dr. Agbomhere defending the status quo, or is he making a valid point about responsible citizenship? Be honest. If you were in Nigeria right now, would you join a protest against insecurity or would you rather work with the police and DSS in your community?
