Protesters block Abuja expressway for third day over insecurity

So the protest against insecurity has entered day three in Abuja and the protesters have blocked the bridge on Karu-Nyanya expressway that links Nasarawa and Abuja. They are carrying placards and singing anti-government songs, demanding that the government wake up to its responsibility of protecting lives.

Meanwhile in Borno, suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP members invaded Kautikari village in Chibok LGA on Saturday evening and set a primary school and a day secondary school on fire. Residents fled into the bush for safety. And just last week we buried Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd) who died two weeks after bandits kidnapped him.

Three different incidents in one weekend and it feels like nobody is shocked anymore. How many more protests and attacks before things change?
