BREAKING: Families of 15 worshippers kidnapped from Ori-Oke Ajaiye church vigil in Kwara State are now fearing their loved ones may be dead. Since late May when armed men stormed the vigil near Ikiran Village in Ekiti LGA, killing three people and taking 15 others, there has been no word from the kidnappers. No call, no demand, nothing.

One family member who spoke to SaharaReporters said, "We have not heard anything from those who took them. No call, no demand, nothing. That is why we are afraid that something terrible may have happened to them." The families say both federal and state governments have abandoned them and repeated appeals for updates have gone unanswered. This is happening after five other worshippers abducted in a separate ECWA church attack in the state were confirmed dead in captivity.

So if you think security has improved, think again. Rural Kwara is suffering and nobody is talking about it. How many more must die before government acts?
