I just come back from Caustival 2026 for Abuja yesterday and e shock me how we still dey talk the same things for 2027. And Solape Sonuga drop another bomb say the barrier no be money — na cultural problem, rooted for gender disparity.

We dey see am for Lagos bus every day. When woman try enter politics, na insult, threat, and shame dem go face. Meanwhile the men wey dey steal our money dem dey enjoy. So who go blame women for no wan run for office? Na the system wey we build ourselves.

But here be the thing wey dey worry me pass: if we no start to take civic education serious and force our leaders to answer for their actions between elections, 2027 go just be another circus. Be honest, how many of us fit name our local government chairman? Abi na only when election dey come we remember say we get voice?
