Former Minister Uche Nnaji Wanted for Certificate Forgery

So Uche Nnaji, the former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, now PDP governorship candidate for Enugu 2027, has a warrant of arrest hanging over his head. The ICPC went to Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday and got an order to declare him wanted because he refused to show up for investigation over certificate forgery allegations.

This man was appointed by President Tinubu in August 2023, and he resigned after people found out he allegedly forged his academic and NYSC credentials for the ministerial screening. Now he is running for governor? The ICPC lawyer, Osuobeni Akponimisingha, told the court that Nnaji ignored all their invitations. The court granted everything the ICPC asked for — bench warrant, declare him wanted in newspapers and social media, the whole works.

The question is: how can a man facing a warrant of arrest be a serious candidate for governor of Enugu State? Our people deserve better than this kind of leadership.
