A retired General died in bandit captivity and Atiku is not keeping quiet

So Atiku Abubakar has come out to blast Tinubu's government over the death of retired Major General Abubakar Rabe. The man was a former army spokesperson and Director of Defence Information, and he died while in bandits' captivity. Atiku said it is heartbreaking and unacceptable that a man who served Nigeria with honour could end up dying in the hands of criminals.

He also mentioned the recent attack on schools in Chibok, Borno state as proof that insecurity has worsened under this administration. The former VP's media office released a statement on Sunday and he did not hold back. He said General Rabe's death is a painful reminder that even those who once served in the nation's security architecture are not safe.

This is a retired military General o. If bandits can kidnap and kill somebody who spent his whole life defending this country, what hope do ordinary Nigerians have? Who is really in charge of security in this country?
