10-year-old boy tortured by his guardian in Anambra – video is heartbreaking

Anambra State Government just confirmed that a 10-year-old boy who was allegedly assaulted by his guardian in Awada, Obosi, is now in protective custody. The video circulating online shows the minor with scalded skin and injuries all over his body – the woman and her husband did this to him. No reason given for the maltreatment, but residents stormed the woman's home and confronted them.

Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, posted that the boy is receiving treatment now. She said, 'The offenders must face the law for this barbaric act. If you see something, please say something.' But it is not clear if the woman has been handed over to law enforcement yet.

How can a grown woman and her husband do this to a 10-year-old child? Where is the justice for this boy?
