Abuja Lawyer faults VeryDarkMan’s protest call, urges support for security agencies

Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, a legal practitioner and Chief Operating Officer of UBIIJUS Intelligence, has criticised activist Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, for calling protests against insecurity. In a statement released yesterday, Agbomhere argued such protests undermine national stability and urged support for security agencies instead.
Agbomhere accused Otse of promoting narratives that erode public confidence in government institutions. “Calling for protests against insecurity or against the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not patriotism; it is an act capable of encouraging disorder and undermining national stability,” he said. He stressed that Nigeria’s security challenges require unity, credible intelligence, and community vigilance, not anti-government rhetoric. Agbomhere commended the Nigerian Army, Police, and other security bodies, noting that no security architecture can succeed without public support.
