Democracy day address exposes APC’s 11-year failure –  ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dismissed President Bola Tinubu’s Democracy Day address as a campaign speech exposing the All Progressives Congress’s 11-year failure. In a statement yesterday, ADC National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi said the President offered fresh promises instead of answers to deepening economic hardship, insecurity, and unemployment.

“After three years of President Tinubu and eleven years of APC rule, Nigerians deserve results, not recycled promises,” the party said. The ADC argued the address should have been an accountability moment, not a catalogue of future intentions. It noted millions struggle with soaring food prices, rising transport fares, and shrinking incomes. The party also condemned the National Assembly for proceeding on recess on Democracy Day, calling it a poor display of democratic consciousness.
