Atiku calls Tinubu's N4tn power bond plan a 'racket'
Former VP Atiku Abubakar has thrown serious shade at President Tinubu's plan to raise another N4 trillion bond for power sector debt. In a statement yesterday, Atiku said this is becoming a recurring cycle of borrowing and deception under this administration.
Atiku's exact words: "There is a name for repeatedly collecting money to solve the same problem while the problem remains unsolved. It is called a 'racket'." He asked the simple question Tinubu's people don't want to answer: What happened to the money from previous bonds they raised for the same thing?
This is the same government that promised to fix electricity. Instead we get more borrowing, more questions, and still no light. How many bonds does it take to solve one problem before somebody asks where the last trillions went?
