Oshiomhole finally tells the truth about Buhari and Tinubu

Adams Oshiomhole has finally said what many of us have suspected all along. In an interview on The Mic On Podcast yesterday, the Edo North Senator openly admitted that President Tinubu's thinking is totally different from Buhari's. He even recalled that during Tinubu's 2022 campaign, he told everyone that Asiwaju would not run on Buhari's record. The man said Tinubu was not even a player in Buhari's government and did not nominate anyone into it.

Oshiomhole said Tinubu had to speak as a statesman and could not disown his predecessor, but Oshiomhole himself could do so. This is a former APC chairman now openly distancing Tinubu from Buhari. It makes you wonder what they knew all along but were afraid to say while Buhari was still alive. The late president's legacy is clearly not something they want attached to this administration.

I find it interesting that Oshiomhole also dismissed Peter Obi's chances for 2027, saying Obi has no reputation. But if Tinubu's government is so different from Buhari's, why are Nigerians not feeling the difference in their pockets? The question I keep asking myself is this: if Tinubu is truly this sophisticated mind Oshiomhole describes, why has the common man not seen the evidence yet?
