APC primary in Ekiti was a sham and Tinubu must act now

Ayodele Arise, a chieftain of APC and aspirant for Ekiti North Senatorial District, has come out to say the party primary was a complete sham. He even said state governors are a major problem for internal democracy. The committee declared Senator Cyril Fasuyi winner but Arise and others like Dipo Bamisaye and Dare Owolabi rejected the result as fraudulent.

Arise said in his statement, "It will be a shame if some of us passed through this country and we don't have the voice to correct the anomalies and let people know that if we want to practice democracy, let us practice it." He is now calling on President Tinubu to intervene urgently. This is the same party that keeps talking about internal democracy while governors manipulate everything behind the scenes.

How can we trust any election in 2027 when even the party primaries are this rigged? Who is really benefiting from this mess while ordinary people just dey suffer?
