Wizkid is overrated and Davido runs circles around him, fight me

See ehn, I have lived in London long enough to know what real longevity looks like in music. Wizkid had his moment with Ojuelegba and some cool features abroad, but Davido has been consistent since 2011. No break. No disappearing for two years to find himself. Davido drops, he tours, he shows up for his fans, he pays school fees for strangers. Wizkid is busy posting cryptic tweets and ignoring his own concerts.

My teenage daughter tried to tell me Wizkid is the king of Afrobeats. I laughed. I said, baby girl, when Davido was selling out the O2 Arena twice in one year, your Starboy was still figuring out how to finish a setlist on time. And the energy? Davido dances, he vibes with the crowd, he brings other artists on stage. Wizkid stands there looking like somebody stole his phone.

And don't even get me started on the fan wars. Wizkid FC will tell you he is the greatest but the man cannot even sell out a show in Lagos without drama. Davido is out here feeding families, building schools, and still making hits. If you think Wizkid is better, I need to know what you are smoking because I want some.
