OG Anunoby wins NBA, now Nigerians want to claim him

Now una go see everybody on timeline claiming OG Anunoby. The guy just won NBA championship with Knicks, and suddenly every Nigerian is his cousin. Una no remember how Nigeria Basketball Federation dropped am from Tokyo 2021 roster? Dem no even invite am to training camp.

This is the same pattern we always do. Anthony Joshua, Israel Adesanya, now OG. We only claim dem after dem don suffer and succeed abroad. Meanwhile grassroots basketball for Nigeria dey suffer. No funding, no structure. But when victory come, we quickly say "our blood."

Be honest, if OG Anunoby never win championship, una go still know his name? Let's argue this.
