Former Big Brother Naija housemate Thelma Lawson has explained why she rejected Rooboy's romantic proposal during the show last year. Speaking on Friday's reunion episode, Thelma said Rooboy is not the kind of man she wants around her son, citing his tattoos and hypeman lifestyle.

"Rooboy could not even spell correctly. I do not want him around my son. He is too loud and his tattoos are not the lifestyle that I want," she said. Thelma claimed Rooboy reacted by speculating she was "a bitter person." Rooboy admitted asking Thelma out but denied being upset. He accused Otega of betraying him, saying, "I was talking to Otega as a brother not knowing he was also in the picture."
