I stole from my own mother's purse for 3 years and she never knew

My mother she trust me too much. Since I was 15 I dey take money from her purse every market day. Small small. She no dey count am. Sometimes ₦500, sometimes ₦1000. I tell myself say na for school transport. But na lie. I dey use am for games and pure water.

One day she come complain say her savings don finish. She say she no know how. She dey cry. I just dey look at her and say nothing. That night I swear I go stop. But next week I still take again. E pain me but my hand no obey.

Now I be man. I get my own money. But I never tell her. Sometimes I buy her things big big but e no cover the shame. She still dey call me her honest son. God when I go find voice to confess?
