I say Wizkid music hits deeper than Davido any day

See ehn, I have been a nurse in London for 18 years now. I have seen all kinds of stress from patients and their families. When I come home tired and my bones are aching, the only music that truly calms my spirit is Wizkid. Not Davido. Wizkid.

My children they tell me I am old school. But I tell them, listen to 'Ojuelegba' and try not to feel something. That song is about struggle and hope, it is our story. Davido's music is for parties, for dancing, for when you want to show off. Wizkid is for the soul. When I was coming up in Ibadan, we did not have much. Wizkid's early songs carried us through. Davido's songs are good but they are loud, they are about money and girls. Wizkid sings about real life.

My husband who is Ghanaian even agrees with me. He says Wizkid's voice is like butter. We play Wizkid in the car, in the kitchen, everywhere. Davido is only for when guests come and we want to turn up. So I am asking you all, which musician truly represents the Nigerian experience better? Wizkid or Davido?
