Petrol price drop wey never reach filling station, e dey pain me

See ehn, I just passed by Mobil along Awolowo Road this morning and the queue was still stretching like Lagos traffic on a Friday. The thing wey dey worry me be say we hear say price don drop, but nobody don see am for pump. My friend Chidi wey dey work for one station inside Ikeja tell me say dem get new price list but dem no go display am until old stock finish. I can't.

Abeg, how can we dey hear about reduction for news but when you go buy, na the same old price dem dey sell you? It's giving 'we hear but we no see'. And the funny thing be say the same people wey dey sell us fuel for black market don also adjust their price. So who get the real information sef?

I don calculate am for my head. If fuel price really drop by even small amount, my generator cost go reduce, transport go adjust, everything go connect. But until I see am with my two eyes for pump, I no go believe. Shey you don see any station wey don reduce price for your area?
