Nigerian man jailed for storing human faeces outside his home in Kano

A man in Kano got two weeks in prison for storing bags of human faeces outside his home , but he was just trying to make a living selling it as fertiliser. His neighbours couldn't breathe, the magistrate had to see the mess herself, and now everyone wants to know: is this a public health win or a sign of how desperate people are to survive?
