Nigerians are literally buying their own fuel from Togo after it was shipped out of Dangote refinery and brought back, and the government and marketers are acting like this is normal business. If the refinery can produce enough to supply other countries, why are we still paying premium prices at home while our own products do a round trip through Lomé? Is this really about market efficiency or are we just comfortable with a system that keeps fuel expensive for ordinary Nigerians?
