Nigerian men are the problem in every relationship, I said what I said

My dear, I have been watching this thing for years now, both here in London and back home. Every time I visit Ibadan, I see it with my own eyes. Nigerian men will treat you like a queen during courtship, then after the wedding they switch up completely. They expect you to cook, clean, work full time, raise the children, and still look like a supermodel at 40. Meanwhile they are out with their boys drinking palm wine every weekend.
My friend Funke called me last week crying. Her husband told her she is not 'submissive enough' because she questioned why he spent their rent money on a new sound system for his car. I tell you, the audacity of these men is something else. They want a woman who is educated and earning, but still traditional when it suits them. You cannot have it both ways o. My own Ghanaian husband is not perfect, but at least he knows how to share the load. He cooks on Sundays without me asking. He takes the children to school. Simple things that Nigerian men act like is a favour.
Maybe I am too harsh, but I am tired of seeing our sisters suffer in silence. A man who loves you will not make you carry everything alone. So tell me, why do we keep accepting less than we deserve?
