Small thing just dey crack me up. I went to my colleague's wedding last weekend, Abike Ogunlade's ceremony. The event was nice, food was there, drinks flowing, everything smooth.

But the thing wey catch my attention na how some people carry pure water sachet like na Gucci bag. You see aunty wey wear lace and gele wey cost more than my rent, she dey hold one sachet of pure water like she dey guard gold. She no go put am for bag, she no go drink am. She just carry am for hand, walking around the reception like she dey advertise something.

I dey wonder, na status symbol pure water don become? In this economy where fuel price dey drop small but everything else still high, we don reach stage where carrying a 100 naira sachet of water for party na flex. Shey you dey see am? The way we Nigerians turn anything into class e choke.
