If a civil society group can track bandits holding military drills and receiving night-vision gear near the Sokoto-Zamfara border, why can’t the security forces shut it down before they strike again? Bandits loyal to Bello Turji are reportedly regrouping with new weapons and fresh fighters, some possibly linked to insurgent groups, while we wait for the next attack to confirm what everyone already knows.
