Ekiti 2026: ADC candidate say election was war zone

Dare Bejide, the ADC candidate for Ekiti governorship, don reject the whole election result. The man say the exercise no get any credibility at all. He talk say some polling units were almost like a war zone, even his own unit.

According to Bejide, bags of money were brought to polling units and vote buying was happening openly. He say political appointees and a serving senator brought thugs and security personnel to some places. The man talk say if the government had performed well, they wouldn't need to rely on money to influence voters.

This one is a sad day for democracy in Ekiti. When people go vote and see this kind thing, wetin remain for us to believe? I dey wonder if any election in this country go ever be free and fair.
