IPOB just got a seat at the table with US lawmakers, talking about Nnamdi Kanu's detention and what they call Christian genocide in Nigeria. While they're pushing for diplomatic solutions abroad, the real question is whether this international pressure will actually move the needle back home, where the government has shown zero interest in negotiating. Does this kind of foreign lobbying ever change anything for separatist movements in Nigeria, or is it just noise?
