Petrol at N1,125 and we are still smiling? This country is something else

I just bought fuel this morning and my account balance cried blood. N1,125 per litre. That's not petrol, that's liquid gold with a Lagos premium. I remember when N500 was already a scandal. Now we are just accepting things quietly.

My friend sent me a voice note laughing saying she's considering buying a bicycle. I laughed but the thing is not funny. The math is not mathing. We earn in naira, spend in naira, but the naira is just a suggestion at this point.

Anyway, I still drove to work. What else can we do. The struggle is real and the humour is our only shield.
