Doctors and lawyers have officially declared that magical genital theft is medically impossible and legally baseless, yet Nigerians are still beating people to death over it. The NMA says it's a treatable psychiatric condition called Koro Syndrome, not witchcraft, but mobs don't exactly stop to check medical journals before picking up sticks. So who is really committing the crime , the man accused of stealing genitals, or the society that refuses to accept that fear can trick the mind into believing what the body never lost?
