Emerse Fae called out Schweinsteiger for 'African football' comment , wetin happen?

So Ivory Coast don make history reach World Cup knockout first time, and Nicolas Pepe score two goals to beat Curacao 2-0. But instead of pure celebration, coach Emerse Fae dey talk about something else , Bastian Schweinsteiger wey say their football na 'African football', 'wild and unorthodox'. Fae say he used to admire the man so much ehn, his friends even call am 'Bastian' for him. But now he say that comment dey sad, e fit be racist if we call a spade a spade.

This one pain me because Schweinsteiger na legend, but how you go describe an entire continent's style like that? Africa teams don show level for this World Cup , South Africa dey fly, Morocco dey hold their own. So why we still dey hear 'wild' and 'unorthodox' like we no sabi ball? Fae no mince words, e say he disappointed for the man wey he once loved as a player.

Naija people, this one na reminder say even when we dey win, some people still go try reduce our achievement. Make we no let their words shake us. If our football dey work, abeg let the results speak.
