So my tenant wey don stay for my house for Ikeja since 2018, Mrs. Bola Ogunlade, she just come see me this morning. She put envelope for table, fine handwriting inside say she dey vacate end of July. I just look am, I look my calendar, I look am again.

I no fit lie, my heart swell small. But the lawyer in me start thinking. You know how many people just pack out and leave you with arrears? Or they damage your property and vanish? This one did everything proper. She even wrote that she will hand over keys after professional cleaning.

I just sit down and ask myself, when last did I increase her rent? The market don change since 2018. But she was good tenant, so I kept am low. Now I go find new tenant, current market rate. But e pain me say I lose good tenant. Na so life dey go.
