Wizkid is overrated and Davido carries Afrobeats on his back

I know say this one go make plenty people vex but I don tire. I don hear Wizkid songs from 2011 till now and I swear I still can't find the special thing. The man dey mumble, dey drop one album every five years and una dey call him king. Meanwhile Davido dey release hit after hit, dey feature everybody, dey carry the whole industry on his back.

Davido don do Timeless, he don do A Good Time, he dey show up for other artists, he dey perform everywhere. Wizkid dey post Instagram stories and call himself Star Boy. Na which star? The one wey shine once and disappear? I dey tell you, if Wizkid no get Drake and Skepta to feature for 'Made in Lagos', that album no go cross.

Davido is the real face of Afrobeats. The energy, the consistency, the humility. Wizkid fans go come for my neck now but I stand by it. Who else agrees say Wizkid is just vibes and Davido is the substance?
