Mahdi Shehu didn’t hold back, he called Northern Nigeria a conquered society, blaming greedy leaders and docile citizens who mortgaged the region for their own comfort. According to him, we lost not with guns but with propaganda and shamelessness, and our elders are just selfish imbeciles with too much survival instinct. So, if the North has already been defeated physically and tactically under democracy, is there any point pretending we can still fight back?
