N194 Million in One Day for Tinubu and Shettima Trips

SaharaReporters just exposed that the State House paid N194 million in a single day for trips by President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima. This is from GovSpend portal records, all on April 30, 2026. N100.6 million went for Tinubu's trips, N79.4 million for Shettima's, plus N15 million more for VP office trips.

This is the same government that earlier spent N1.5 billion on air tickets in one day last December. They paid Overland Travels and Tours Limited N226 million, Travel Options Limited N96.8 million, all in one day. Meanwhile we dey suffer here with fuel price and no light.

Who is checking these people? The portal shows everything but nobody is asking questions. If this was your local government chairman we would hear am for radio. Why is nobody calling out the State House for this kind of spending?
