Rev Obioha says no 2027 election if Peter Obi is not on ballot

Rev Dr Okechukwu Christopher Obioha of Njiko Igbo Forum has come out strong after the Federal High Court ruling that ordered INEC to deregister the NDC. He said if Peter Obi is frustrated and not on the ballot, there will be no election in 2027. He called it a prophecy, not a threat.

I have been watching the way the judiciary is being handled under this administration and I am not surprised people are losing confidence. Obioha said it clearly: the citizens are not looking at the courts at all because of inconsistencies. And he accused Tinubu of weakening the judiciary since he came into power.

Whether you agree with him or not, the man raised a valid point. If the system keeps shutting out opposition figures, what do they expect? Be honest, do you think Nigeria can have a peaceful election in 2027 without Obi on the ballot?
